Vectaraan atlas of Solana stake

Where Solana's stake sits on the globe

Each validator is pinned to the place its server reports from. Larger circles hold more stake; deeper-tinted nations carry a larger slice of the network.

Who owns the ground

Borders are one kind of concentration; landlords are another. Here stake is grouped by the firm that holds each server's IP block. A single outage or rule change at a big host can knock many validators offline together.

How each mark on the chart was made, and where it can mislead.

Weight

Active stake per vote account comes straight from a Solana RPC node via getVoteAccounts and is re-read roughly every ten minutes. Accounts with no active stake are not charted.

Position

Coordinates, city, nation and host firm are IP-based estimates published by Stakewiz. Treat them as approximate: a listed city may be where a provider is registered rather than where the machine stands. Validators with no position still count toward totals but get no circle.

Software & base map

Client lineage is read from the clientId each node announces over gossip (getClusterNodes); the Jito flag is from Stakewiz. Coastlines are Natural Earth 1:110m via the world-atlas package, on a plain equirectangular grid. Very small territories such as Singapore appear only as circles.
